Scheduled - Workiva will deploy a necessary database update to the Workiva Carbon platform on the US production region beginning Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 1:00am US Central Daylight time. During this update, uploading to the PG&S will not be available. The maintenance should not take longer than three hours total. Once the update is complete, all experience will return to normal. Thank you for your patience during this time.

Resolved - AWS have confirmed incident resolution for this issue, and Workiva engineers have validated that the platform is operating normally. Monitoring - While AWS continues to report stable recovery in the affected region, Workiva engineers are continuing to validate platform health. We are currently observing stable recovery in line with expectations and will update this incident if conditions change. Update - AWS has reported that service restoration in the affected region is still ongoing. Customers may observe partial recovery. We continue to work with AWS to restore full service to the US production region.

Update - Our cloud service provider is reporting ongoing network reliability issues and are working towards resolution. Customers may experience issues or errors when accessing the US Production environment. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Investigating - We continue to investigate the root cause for the network connectivity issues and work towards resolving these issues. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Update - We continue to observe that most functions of the platform are working normally. The issue with Email notifications for MFA login codes not being sent, is now resolved.
We are now observing impact to Carbon on the US Production environment, some functions including the loading of dashboards are not functioning.
Further updates will be provided once they become available.

We have identified that Email notifications for MFA login codes are not being sent since the incident and we are working to resolve this.

Monitoring - Starting at 1:55 AM (US Central Time) Workiva's US Production environment experienced issues as a result of an issue with a service provider. Internal testing and monitoring have begun to indicate recovery now but we continue to monitor.
